BENTLEY RAISES THE WOOF AT GOODWOOD’S FESTIVAL FOR DOGS

Bentley took the lead as the exclusive automotive partner for this year’s Goodwoof festival, held at the Duke of Richmond’s Goodwood estate. A fleet of Bentayga luxury 4x4s added excitement to a range of activities at The Kennels, the central clubhouse of the West Sussex estate. The event featured world-class competitions, field and trail demonstrations, talks from dog experts and celebrity owners, and plenty of treats for attendees on both two and four legs.
A new addition was the Bentley Barking Paddock, offering dedicated parking for Bentley drivers and owners of dogs named ‘Bentley’, ensuring swift access to The Kennels. Goodwoof’s Event Creative Director welcomed Bentley and the Bentayga, enhancing the event with style and providing an exceptional experience for visitors. Special activities included Bentaygas participating in sheep dog roles and the spacious Bentayga EWB offering a 'pup-arazzi' experience, with proceeds benefiting the event's charity partner, Pets as Therapy.

How to keep scared pets safe over the Fourth of July holiday
Today is independence day, it's crucial for pet owners to consider the potential distress fireworks can cause their furry companions. Dr. Kendall Putnam from Animal Doctors of South Tampa highlights that the loud noises and bright lights can overwhelm pets, particularly due to their heightened sense of hearing.
To mitigate this, Dr. Putnam recommends setting up a tranquil space for pets with familiar toys or background noise like a TV to provide comfort and distraction. For those prone to anxiety, discussing options such as anti-anxiety medication with a veterinarian beforehand can be beneficial. Ensuring pets wear collars with identification or have microchips is also essential to prevent them from getting lost during the celebrations.
By taking these proactive measures, pet owners can help their animals stay calm and safe during the holiday festivities.
