This Luxury Dog Airline Just Added Flights to Florida and Paris

BARK Air, a recently launched airline catering exclusively to dogs, is enhancing its flight offerings significantly. Since its inaugural flight on May 23, BARK Air has expanded its services to include new destinations across the United States and globally. Starting in October, dogs and their owners can enjoy flights to Paris, Chicago, San Jose, Phoenix, and Fort Lauderdale, in addition to existing routes connecting New York, Los Angeles, and London.

According to a spokesperson for BARK Air, high demand has prompted the airline to introduce service to five new domestic and seven new international routes. The airline operates Gulfstream G5 jets designed to accommodate a maximum of 14 passengers, maintaining spacious conditions by limiting ticket sales to nine passengers per flight. Flights depart from and arrive at metropolitan airports near major cities, such as Westchester County Airport for New York and San Jose Airport for San Francisco, with complimentary ground transportation provided within a 30-mile radius upon landing.

Prices for domestic flights start at $6,000, while international flights start at $8,000, with popular routes like New York to Paris priced at $8,500, as listed on the company's website.
